She is a Fellow of the prestigious International Medical Sciences Academy, Fellow of the Indian society for Atherosclerosis Research, WHO Fellow in Lab Genetics from AIIMS, New Delhi and DHR Fellow in Genomics from Burnett School of biomedical sciences, University of Central Florida, USA. She has numerous DBT, ICMR, DHR-MoHFW funded projects, National and International awards and publications toher credit. She is also the past President of the Indian Society for Atherosclerosis Research affiliated to the prestigious International Atherosclerosis Society, Milan, Italy.
